Manufactured Joinery Manager

Due to continued growth of our busy workshop we are excited to be looking for an experienced Manufactured Joinery Manager to supplement our team.

Roles and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:-

  • Effective use of both time and resources to ensure excellent productivity levels
  • Supplement and support our current management team to oversee production, safety and quality of work
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of joinery manufacture and production
  • Manufacture processes and delivery of manufactured goods to the required time and high quality
  • Management of budgets and time for the workshop team.
  • Preparation of reports, detail review and input to programmes as and when required
  • Overseeing / Managing all workshop environment health & safety requirements
  • Manage weekly production programmes and trackers; advising on any conflicts and be motivated to find solutions
  • Must demonstrate ability to deal with change requests and tight lead times without impact to other contracts in progress
  • Manage resource and provide support and training to all members of the team; with additional focus on trainees introduced through our longstanding commitment to supporting the trade via our Apprenticeship Scheme.

The ideal candidate will have / be:

  • Working knowledge and experience of all aspects of workshop equipment, tools, machines and relevant safety practices
  • Excellent communication and man management skills
  • Strong IT skills and be confident in using Microsoft Office packages
  • A highly motivated leader who is capable of getting the best out of people
