Positive start for Elmwood Construction

Elmwood Construction’s team has enjoyed a positive start to the new financial year, reports Managing Director Alan Strachan.

“It’s been a encouraging start to 2011for construction services with not one but three sizeable residential projects. “Work began in January at the exclusive Avenel development in the conservation village of Kilmacolm where Elmwood is carrying out the build of three luxury residential properties, each with a value of between £1million and £2million.  We’re also hard at work on two properties in Gleneagles for private clients, with each property circa £3.6million.

"Meanwhile, phase one is underway at our own residential project in the popular Carnbroe area, comprising 41 terraced, semi and detached three and four-bedroom houses. When complete, the overall development will comprise some 171 homes in total, with a construction value for Elmwood in excess of £18million.
