Smooth finish for new Glenmorangie HQ

Work is now complete on Glenmorangie’s stunning new headquarters at The Cube in Edinburgh’s city centre – a project which saw Elmwood involved in the main shell fit out, bespoke joinery and furniture

Occupying the top two floors of the much talked about Cube building on Leith Street, the new headquarters combine predominantly staff-only areas on the fourth floor with bespoke corporate hospitality areas on the fifth floor. Tying the look together throughout is a signature style that intertwines veneer panelling and glass with customised lighting and imaginative displays of product, company heritage and brand values.  Elmwood Director Steven Gough oversaw the manufacturing, production and installation of the bespoke element. “There were a number of unique features involved, from intricate ceiling work and over-sized sliding doors to a circular tasting room and customised LED lighting for a subtle yet well-lit look.

“There were also a large number of AVs and LCD plasma units to be integrated throughout, whether concealed behind wall panels or in bespoke recesses. “But with our construction and manufactured joinery teams working closely together, we delivered what was a very high level specification on time and within budget.”
