Client: Berits & Brown
Designer: Keppie Design
Main fit out and bespoke joinery: Elmwood
What began life as little more than a shell at the £330m Maxim Park in Glasgow has since been transformed into a licensed delicatessen and coffee shop for premium brand Berits & Brown.
Designed by Keppie Design with fit out and bespoke joinery by Elmwood, works included the installation of a timber insulated raised floor, plasterboard partitions, suspended tile ceilings and plumbing, along with internal decoration, feature lighting and a mix of hardwood flooring and striking monochrome floor tiles.
Completing the high-specification throughout, a number of statement pieces were custom made by Elmwood including beautifully crafted oak servery units and shelving, tables and breakfast bars, zinc panels and solid surface worktops.
“Following the completion of our two most recent projects – the Mott Macdonald offices and The Bridge Argyle Street – we are once again delighted at the professionalism and conduct on both these difficult contracts.”
