Client: Glasgow School of Art
Architects: Glasgow School of Art
Fit out and move management: Elmwood
The iconic Glasgow School of Art had ambition plans to transform nine separate academic buildings into one contemporary urban campus. First though, their priority was to ensure students the best working environment throughout the redevelopment.
Skypark with its high quality studio space and office accommodation was selected as the ideal temporary home, and Elmwood was appointed main contractor taking us into our 10th year of working at the site.
Responsible not just for the fit out of the temporary accommodation but also for the move management of highly specialist plant and equipment, Elmwood ensured a smooth and coordinated move.
“We had a great experience working with Elmwood on this project, the client was impressed with the standard of finishes and with Elmwood’s communication throughout the process. Our key contacts, Scott, George and Mark have all been a pleasure to deal with. We would be happy to recommend Elmwood to other clients in the future.”
