Client: Credential Holdings
Architects: ZMR Architects
Fit out: Elmwood
In the bid to attract tenants to the mall area of the new Virginia Galleries development, owners Credential Holdings knew that creating a striking first impression would be key – and they asked Elmwood to undertake the ground floor fit out.
Elmwood first coordinated all the main services between the original solid ceiling and a new metal frame plasterboard ceiling, ensuring that the mall would be as adaptable in the long term as it would be impressive. Then began the setting out, design and fit out of the different elements including intricate floor and wall tiling, unit partitions with glass screens and doors, and external glazing onto the courtyard.
Such was the success of the original commission that Elmwood were subsequently asked to fit out the basement floor and a number of retail units.
“Elmwood and Redman have the creative vision to help us realise our objectives with this ambitious project. They have really gone all out to enable us to meet our deadlines and budget requirements.”
